We're married...and it's awesome!

To our wonderful family and friends:

Well, we made it through the chaos and frivolity of the last week. We had a blast with our family and friends. We have always known that we have amazing people in our lives; it was great to have them here and to see them all in action. We would love to thank everyone individually but that would take more than one blog post so if you are reading this thank you for being part of our special day in whatever way that you participated. Our great photographers already have a slide show with a sneak peak of some photos. Click here to see them. There will be more to come later.

Honeymoon Part 1 is done. We stayed in the Davenport Honeymoon Suite in the Tower for two nights. Thanks to all who came to the Davenport to share Sunday brunch with us. We highly recommend the Davenport Honeymoon Suite whether it is for your honeymoon, anniversary celebration, or weekend getaway. The room has all of the amenities you could possibly want and a great view of downtown Spokane. The staff are professional, courteous, and unbelievably accommodating. Here are some pictures we wanted to share with you.

Stayed tuned for updates on Honeymoon Part II: Disneyland for a day and then the Cook Islands.

With our love and sincere gratitude,

Mr. and Mrs. Dave Ryan

Bridal shower

Thanks to Dave's mom (Debby) and step-mom (Patci) for throwing a bridal shower for me last month. I had a great time and loved having friends and family here for the party. Check out some of the photos by clicking here.

Details for our wedding

Well, we're in the home stretch now. We are very excited with how many "yes" RSVP's we have received. Here are a few details for everyone.

First, we still hope to have the wedding outside even if it is a bit on the chilly side. We will certainly hold the ceremony inside if it is raining or snowing. Otherwise, please anticipate that the ceremony could be outside and dress accordingly. When you arrive, please proceed through the front doors of the mansion and you will be directed from there. The reception will be held indoors with a full dinner buffet. If the ceremony is inside, then our caterers will change over the seating quickly. The bar will be open for our guests and hopefully dinner will be ready by 5:30 p.m. Click here for a map to Bozarth Mansion if you need it.

We will be at our house on the Thursday before the wedding in the late afternoon/early evening with our family and friends. Anyone is invited to come on over and we would love to see you. Click here for a map to our house.

We will be having the rehearsal at our house on the Friday before the wedding. For this please arrive at the house by 5:30 p.m. and we will start the run through close to 5:45 p.m. For the rehearsal, we would like to have the following people here: bridal party, parents, grandparents, ushers, Adrianna, and Matt (if available). We will then head off to Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar for dinner at 7:00 p.m. Significant others and spouses are invited.

We hope to see everyone before the wedding day. In case we don't, here's a brief schedule for the pictures the day of the wedding:

* 1:30: Dave and Shawnia photos alone (this may start sooner than this).

* Next will be the photos with the bridal party (ushers, bridesmaids, bridesman, groomsmen, groomsgirl, officiant, flower girl, ring bearer). Please be at the venue and ready by 2:00 p.m.

* Then we will have the photos with the family (parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, etc). Please be at the venue and ready by 2:30 p.m.

* We will do a quick run through of the ceremony after the photos are done.

* We are very excited and honored that Matt, of Ten Mile Tide (check out his band's website here), will be playing the piano to greet our guests. This will start at 4:00 p.m.

* We hope to start the ceremony promptly at 4:30 p.m. and it will probably last 15-20 minutes.
Then the party starts!

We will be departing the venue at 9:15 p.m. (or so) in a very cool car.

We are staying at the Davenport Hotel Honeymoon Suite for two nights. On Sunday morning, anyone who wishes to join us for brunch is welcome. Please let us know so that we can add you to the count for the reservation.

Thank you to everyone for your support. We look forward to celebrating with you.
